Market Expertise

I am in tune with the psychological sentiment of traders and price movements around key price levels (support, resistance, psychologically crucial prices) in order to anticipate breakouts, breakdowns or stall of momentum. I originally became interested in the markets in 2000 and started out trading equities and options on equities. In 2001, I had become fascinated with the Futures and Options markets because of the ability to profit from various market conditions, the increased leverage (also increases possible loss), and the integrity of the futures markets.

I have studied and respect advisors such as: David Caplan, Jake Bernstein, David Hightower, Robert Wiest, William O'Neil, and Lawrence MacMillan

Technical Study Background

Chart Patterns (Variable time frames), Volume and Open Interest interpretations, COT Reports, moving average convergence/divergence, candlesticks, Fibonnacci retracements, support/resistance levels, Options implied versus historical volatility, DTE, and favorable risk/reward ratios are all part of my arsenal in identifying and executing potentially profitable trades.

Trading Stratagies

Option writing and spreading, complex options positions (butterflys, condors, ratios), hedging gains in futures positions with options creating delta neutral positions, analyzing current volatility states of markets and initiating options positions (spreads, straddles, strangles) based on the anticipated level of volatility in the near term.

Analysis Preference

Chart patterns combined with volatility analysis, Commitment of Trader data, and expiration of nearby futures/options contracts.
